Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data when using NEXTPRIDE, a website for CSD, Pride, and queer demonstration dates. Processing takes place only to the extent necessary to provide and securely operate the content.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing is the entity named in the Legal notice.
Contact details for data protection matters are available on the Contact page.
2. General information on data processing
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)1 and supplementary national provisions.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Only data required for operation, security, and presentation of the content is processed.
3. Server log files and hosting
When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is automatically collected and processed in server log files.
This includes, in particular, IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer, browser type, browser version, and operating system.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR2 (legitimate interest in stable, secure, and abuse-resistant provision of the service).
4. Contact requests
When contact is made by email or through provided contact channels, transmitted data is processed to handle the respective request.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual communication) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Deletion takes place as soon as the processing purpose ceases to apply and no statutory retention periods prevent deletion.
5. Cookies and local storage technologies
The website may use technically necessary cookies or comparable storage technologies to provide core functionality.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with applicable ePrivacy rules3.
Technologies beyond technically required purposes are only used on the basis of consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
6. External services and links
The website contains references to external offers, in particular official websites, social media profiles, and map services such as Apple Maps and Google Maps. These services are not embedded, but only linked. Data is transferred to these providers only when a corresponding external link is opened.
For the map view within the website, external map and script resources from tiles.openfreemap.org and unpkg.com may be loaded. Technically necessary data such as IP address, browser information, referrer, and requested map areas may be transmitted to the respective providers.
The coordinates used in the map view refer to event locations, meeting points, or railway stations. NEXTPRIDE does not collect location data of the person using the website.
7. Storage period
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective processing purposes.
Longer storage only takes place where statutory retention obligations under German or European law apply.
8. Data subject rights
In particular, rights exist to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability under Arts. 15 to 20 GDPR.
There is also a right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR under Art. 21 GDPR.
Any consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
There is a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
